Do I pay custom and import charges if I live outside the EU?

For the following countries, the tax and duty are included in the price of the product where applicable; Qatar, Singapore, Switzerland, US.

For all EU countries, tax and duty are not applicable because of distance selling regulation, which means that the price shown includes each countries VAT which Global-e (our payment partner) then pays to each country.

For all other countries, the tax and duty cost is calculated and displayed at the checkout stage. You can then choose whether you pre-pay this (if you do not then you have to wait until customs).
